Fishing Village

Digital art painting of a fishing village with a hexagon-shaped building at the end of a pier. The design was inspired by a broken pier in Herne Bay, South-East England. It used to be a concession stand for carnivals until it became abandoned. I revamped the structure into a fishing village with several hidden easter egg meanings. The painting was made with an assortment of custom brushes and shading techniques which took about three weeks to complete.

Fishing village (2018): Final painting

Here is the process of the Fishing Village digital art which started from a sketch and was built up using brushes in Photoshop.

Inspiration from the abandoned Herne Bay Pier in England.
